Episode Notes

This Episode is hosted by Natali Zollinger-

Ote Dale is a commercial Grand Canyon Dory Boatwoman and has spent the last 25 years guiding on the Colorado River. She rows the infamous "Dark Canyon" Dory.

We start this episode with her story, her connection to the river, and who some of her female mentors are.

We then dive into a quick summary of the Dale Family and their connection the the Grand Canyon.

We end with what it was like being a mother and a riverguide, her rules for being a guide and knowing when to quit, and what tips/tricks to think about if you want to row a Dory.

I tried Skype for the first time, which makes the audio a little choppy. Sorry everyone! I promise it's still worth listening to :)
